Major Field: Comparative Politics

Amy’s  primary research foci are gender and politics, social policy, and political institutions.  Her work has appeared in Poverty & Public Policy.  She has taught Introduction to American Government, Introduction to Political Science, and Politics in Western Democracies; she is currently teaching Political Change in Developing Areas.

Sarah Wu, Ph.D. expected, 2010

Major Fields: American Politics (public law/judicial); Public Administration

Sarah’s  primary interest is the voting behavior of state judges.  Her dissertation examines decision-making by state supreme court justices in death penalty appeals.  Sarah has given three conference papers and has taught "Introduction to Political Science" for six semesters and "Law and American Society" for one semester.
