"A HOUSE, A GRIP, A BADGE, A SONG,
AN EMBLEM-THESE DO NOT MAKE
THE FRATERNITY. IT IS THE UNSEEN
THINGS - FRIENDSHIP, BROTHERHOOD,
CHARACTER, HONOR, COURAGE, IDEALS -
THESE MAKE THE FRATERNITY
AND THE MAN."
Brotherhood is the nucleus to any
strong fraternity. Pi Kappa Phi
promotes strong, tight knit brotherhood that ensures the chapter's
success in the present and also
the future. By taking an active role in
the quest for true
brotherhood, Pi Kappa Phi is able to offer both a
pleasant and
rewarding fraternity experience. Through becoming a
member of the
Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, lifelong friendships will be formed
and strong
sense of pride will be instilled in its members. Regular
events
are scheduled to promote brotherhood such as basketball,
volleyball,
billiards, paintball, and many other tournaments. The
brotherhood
also enjoys working together on community service
projects such as
volunteering for the Love Kitchen to help serve meals
to the less
fortunate or working together to raise money for our
philanthropy. Hiking, concerts, athletic games, and many other
events
are also a part of Pi Kappa Phi's togetherness. The events
are not the
important part of the feeling of brotherhood though.
Brotherhood
emerges from being together for the sole purpose of
enjoyment. It
is because the members of the Pi Kappa Phi
fraternity enjoy being
together that we are able to accomplish anything
that we put our minds
to. Pi Kappa Phi offers a unique and
unforgettable experience for all
involved.
