Education:

B.A. : University of Colorado, Boulder in Physics.

B.A. : University of Colorado, Boulder in Astrophysics and Planetary Science (Magna Cum Laude)

Research Interests:

Martian geology, sedimentary process, thermophysical properties of the Martian surface, integrating remote sensing data sets.

Statement: My recent research has focused on the geologic, geochemical, morphologic, and climatic evolutions of the planet Mars. Specifically, I have been studying the layered deposits of Valles Marineris (Mars) and their relation to detected water-altered minerals with a variety of remote-sensing data and statistical tools in order to better constrain formation processes/histories. My prime educational goals are to expand his surficial geology knowledge (structural and chemical) of the Earth, Moon and Mars while continuing to work with and better understand remote-sensing data.
