The general approach is that students will use the internet to access information regarding the admissions procedure for art, music, or drama colleges. |
|
|
Explain that students will be working independently at the computer to access information about searching for a drama, art, or music college. Distribute the activity worksheet . Assign students specific computer times to complete the assignment, or you may assign this to be done outside of class. After the students have completed their computer research, have a class discussion to share the information about choosing and applying to an art, music, or drama school. |

This activity may require up to an hour and a half of computer time, and 30-45 minutes of class discussion time. The computer research may be assigned to be done outside of class time, with the group discussion held during a class period. |

schools you have chosen. Explore information about the schools that
can help you decide if these are schools that you would be interested in
applying to. You may use the space below to make notes.
3. Some things that
you might want to think about are: location and size of school, requirements
for admission, whether the school offers a course of study that fits your
needs, and audition dates and/or portfolio requirements. You may

on the school's web pages, gather information about audition dates and
requirements, as well as the application process. You may use the
