General Approach |
The general approach is that the teacher or counselor will lead the class in a starting discussion about the fact that it is early fall of their senior year, and it is time for them to start thinking very seriously about colleges for next year. The teacher or counselor will then hand out a worksheet designed to lead the students through an exploration of three colleges of their choice. They will each complete a worksheet based on the College Search section of the College Board web site. After the completion of the worksheet students will compare through means of a class discussion the major differences among the colleges they explored. |

your senior year of high school. You've taken two interest inventories
thesefirst two weeks of school, and you have met with your guidance counselor
and decided on a possible vocation. Now you need to decide where you want
to go to college to get the training for your vocation. Remember,
thesooner you apply to colleges during your senior year, the better chance
you have of being accepted to the place of your choice.
