General Approach |
The general approach is that children will evaluate past academic & behavioral performance and set goals accordingly. This works well after each grading period. |
Activity Steps |
*Students will first do the self-evaluation
section at the top of the the page. Remind students that they should
answer as honestly as possible and that there is no punishment if they
should choose one of the "I did not...." statements.
*After filling out that section, they should reflect on what they chose for their evaluation and set some goals based upon behaviors they want to improve, continue, or new ones they would like to try. *If the counselor and teacher are working together for this activity, the teacher may want to include the second page of the worksheet. Students will confer with parents at home about their goals and receive a signature. Then students will confer with the teacher about their goals and obtain his/her signature. Students should also sign in the appropriate place. |
