| KINDERGARTNER
General Approach |
The general approach is that children will
be given the letter of the alphabet and pictures of jobs.
Then they will pick occupation they like the best and tell why they like it The students will be asked to arrange the letters and jobs in alphabetical order. |
Activity Steps |
After the students are given four (number
may vary) cutouts of various occupations and matching alphabetic character:

Time Required |
This activity may require 20 to 30 minutes
per session.
It will require more than one session to cover all the alphabet. (It nay take as many as six sessions covering an average of four letters per session.) |

Performance
|
Students should be able to identify the letters
of the alphabet as a team.
Students should be able to identify the occupational character. Students should be able to match the characters to the letter of the alphabet. Students should be able to put the alpha characters in alphabetical order. |
