PERMIAS (Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Amerika Serikat) Knoxville, TN is a non-profit student
organization and its' community dedicated to promoting social, intellectual and cultural activities for
Indonesian students and the community in the Knoxville, TN area; as well as assisting Indonesian students
who are currently studying in Knoxville, TN and those who are planning to study here.
PERMIAS Knoxville strives to provide opportunities and benefits for its members by facilitating the
exchange of information between Indonesia, the Indonesian students studying in Knoxville, TN and its'
community.
PERMIAS Knoxville also encourages all Indonesian students in Knoxville, TN and its' community to get
involved in organizing PERMIAS Knoxville events and to join the organization. In hosting and organizing
a variety of events ranging from cultural nights to international fairs, PERMIAS Knoxville works closely
with the International House at the
University of Tennessee, and also the Indonesian
Consulate General in Houston, TX.
