Partners Members Volunteering at the 2007 Punt Pass and Kick competition

January 23, 2008 -   Partners in Sports is giving UT Sport Management students opportunities to get involved this semester in a number of ways.   Partners members will have opportunities to gain valuable sport management experience in a number of different events this spring.   First, Partners members will be attending a Knoxville Ice Bears hockey game on February 7, 2008.    Prior to the game Partners members will tour the facility and have time to talk with Ice Bear employees.

Partners in Sports will be hosting the Fourth Annual Punt Pass and Kick competition February 18, 2008, in association with the Boys and Girls clubs of Knoxville.   Partners members are needed to help run the punt, pass, and kick competition.   The competition is held for boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 12 in the Knoxville area.

Partners is also starting to plan for this years annual Partners in Sports Golf Tournament that will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008 at Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club.  Last year’s tournament was a big success and Partners in Sports members need to take advantage of the opportunity to gain valuable experience.   Partners will need members to contribute on all aspects of running the tournament including registration, setup, organizing the silent auction, food, hospitality, and event management.
