Fall Family Weekend

October 3-5, 2008

The Parents Association will host Fall Family Weekend October 3-5, 2008. Parents and family members are encouraged to come to campus and take part in all Family Weekend events including the UT vs. Northern Illinois football game, enjoy our Big Orange Tailgate Party, and meeting other UT parents. Parents Association members will be able to register for Family Weekend online only in early September.

Football Ticket Information

There are two ways for parents to purchase football tickets to attend the Tennessee vs. Northern Illinois football game:

1. Parents may purchase football game tickets when registering for Family Weekend through the Parents Association. The Parents Association has secured a block of tickets for sale to families attending Family Weekend. These tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis to families who have registered for Family Weekend. Families purchasing tickets through Family Weekend registration will sit in a group with other Family Weekend participants. Click on the Registration link for more information.

2. Parents may visit www.utsports.com to purchase single game tickets through the University of Tennessee Athletics. These tickets will be sold as reserved seating throughout Neyland Stadium. These tickets will sold on a first-come, first-served bases to the general public. These tickets will not be in the Family Weekend section. Parents purchasing football tickets now through University Athletics will still need to register to attend Family Weekend events in early September.

Please note: Parents must purchase football tickets for UT students IF a student does NOT purchase a ticket through the student ticket allocation process which will take place in mid-August.

Additional information and a full schedule of events will be posted on our website as it becomes available.

Please Note: Due to the nature of processing, planning, and event coordination, the Parents Association is unable to offer refunds to any Family Weekend registrant at any time.

The Parents Association Family Weekend will take place except in the most severe weather conditions. In the event of rain, all activities will take place as scheduled, possibly in alternate locations. However, in the event of severe weather such as lightening, the Parents Association, together with the University of Tennessee may elect to delay or cancel any part of Family Weekend at any time. Due to the nature of event planning and coordination, the Parents Association will not offer any refunds, in full or in part, to any participant due to weather.
