Tennessee Family Magazine
Three times a year, Parents Association members will receive the Tennessee Family Magazine. It is a publication developed to provide information to parents of students at the University of Tennessee. It features articles highlighting inspirational UT professors, outstanding UT students, and various student organizations and activities, as well as offering information on scholarships, majors, and careers for your student.
Email Updates
The Parent listserv is an announcement-only e-mail service designed to send weekly updates on campus events, reminders for deadlines and dates, and information on University activities that affect students and parents. Click here for Frequently Asked Questions about Email Updates.
Parent Handbook
All parents who become members of the Parents Association receive a copy of the Annual Parent Handbook, which comes in the form of a yearly calendar. The Parent Handbook outlines important information about all aspects of your student's college experience, such as where to go with questions regarding academic issues, financial aid, etc. The handbook also includes vital facts on academic and administrative departments, services, dates and phone numbers to name just a few.
Parent Outreach
The Parents Association has recently begun a new initiative to connect parents to other parents in their area who have students at the University of Tennessee. The new service, called Parent Outreach will be offered to parents beginning this summer. As we work to start this service, please log into your online account and set whether or not you would like your information included in this database. To login, click here. Log in to your membership account using your email address and password. The password is your membership ID number, unless you have changed it. If you do not know your membership ID number, please call our office at (865) 974-4546. Beginning this summer, parents will be asked on their membership application if they would like to be included in the Parent Outreach directory for their area.
