What is your most memorable UT experience so far?
- My greatest memory of UT was when we beat Georgia 35-7 in football at home in Neyland Stadium my freshman year. The Vols were ranked 12 spots below Georgia in the national ranking polls and that whole morning Orange Pride was EVERYWHERE! The students and fans were cheering loudly everywhere and, when we won that game, the excitement was one of the best feelings that I’ll never forget.
How did you decide on your major?
- I chose Food Science and Technology, in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, as my major because of my experiences in high school. During high school, I wrestled and had to watch my weight constantly. I became obsessed with food. I chose Food Science because I wanted to get involved with food and its ingredients.
What is your favorite place on campus?
- My favorite place on campus is the TRECS (Tennessee Recreation Center for Students). With three floors of exercise equipment and open fields for intramurals, as well as a large swimming pool, the TRECS truly is one of a kind.
