Program Proposal Submission

The 8th Annual Clifton M. Jones Student Leadership Conference will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 10AM to 4PM at the University Center. Please help to make our conference a success by contributing to our program offerings.

Please submit your proposals no later than Friday, January 16, 2009 at 5PM. You may, and are encouraged, to submit multiple program proposals. All sessions will be 45 minutes in length and should have a leadership focus.

We will contact you with final details about which programs will be accepted shortly thereafter.

Conference Tracks:
This year, the Clifton M. Jones Student Leadership Conference will be featuring three distinct track options that students may elect to participate in. During each time-slot of the conference, track participants will have the opportunity to select from various programs that match the track goals. Each track will be capped at 50 participants, so please register early to get your first choice!

The track options include:

  • The New Leader Track- If you are new to leadership, and want to learn more…this track is for you! Follow the New Leader Track to learn more about your personal leadership style, and how to develop into an outstanding UT leader by the time you graduate!
  • The Seasoned Leader Track- Have you been around the leadership block a time or two? Are you an upper-class student leader who holds an advanced leadership position on campus? Follow the Seasoned Leader Track to learn more about yourself as a positional leader and how your student leadership experiences can help you in life after college.
  • The Women & Leadership Track- If you are interested in learning more about being a dynamic female leader, then this track is for you! Follow the Women & Leadership Track to learn more about women’s issues in leadership, how to be a more confident female leader, and how to be a leading lady yourself!
