Apply for Book Loan

The Book Loan Program was created to help students subsidize the costs of purchasing books. The program allows students to borrow books during the semester free of charge and return the book(s) to the Black Cultural Center at the end of the semester. This program operates throughout the academic year.

 

TEXTBOOK DONATIONS - Now being accepted!

Students, faculty, and staff - please donate textbooks to the Black Cultural Center for the Book Loan Program through the Office of Minority Student Affairs. 

Items may be turned in during operating hours - or call 974-6861 for more information.

 

Book Loan Application Form:

  1. Go to the Hodges Library website and check the availability of the desired book.
    • Go to this website and click on "Course Reserves" (Link opens in new window.)
    • In "Type word or phrase:" type "BLP"
    • Click "Browse" to search for the desired book
  2. If the book you desire is available, complete a Book Loan Application. (Link opens in new window.)
  3. Return the application to the Academic Support Unit Office at the BCC.
  4. The application submission period is .
  5. The Academic Support Staff will process your application and send you an e-mail regarding status of request within 3 business days.
  6. If the book is available, you can pick up the book in the BCC Academic Support Unit Office at the BCC.
