Sara Huff

Hello all!

I am Sara Huff, one of the new Education Specialists with the UT Math and Science Center. I am originally from Oneida, TN (Scott County) where I grew up with my mom, dad, and two older brothers. After high school, I attended Carson-Newman College and received my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Elementary Education. I am a certified K-6 teacher. I am now attending the University of Tennessee graduate school for my Master’s degree in Science Education so I can someday teach Middle School Science.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, playing with my first baby niece, hanging out with my friends, going to the gym, and sleeping. I am a huge UT Volunteers fan. I love going to the UT football games and the men’s basketball games. I am fairly athletic. I use to play basketball and softball in high school and picked up volleyball in college. Now, I play whenever I can.

This year I will be working with Union County High School and Jefferson County High School. I am excited to be part of this team with all of you and look forward to meeting each and every one of you!
