Rivera-Rodas Leads Ceremony Honoring Mexican Poet, Gilberto Castellanos
Professor Oscar Rivera-Rodas, Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, has been invited by the Government of the State of Puebla, Mexico, to participate in an official tribute to and presentation of the complete works of the celebrated contemporary Mexican poet, Gilberto Castellanos. Professor Rivera-Rodas wrote the introduction to that work, titled Como podar la luz, at the author’s request. The ceremony will be held on May 24, 2008, at the Universidad Autónoma de Puebla.
