Millie Gimmel, Assistant Professor, MFLL, Receives NEH Summer Stipend
Millie Gimmel, Assistant Professor of Spanish in the Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, has been awarded a summer stipend by the National Endowment for the Humanities. The stipend will support her work in the archives of central Mexico for two months this summer. Dr. Gimmel is currently researching everyday medical practices in early modern Mexico and is working on a monograph on bicultural medicine in colonial Mexico.
