The French section at U.T. offers no direct scholarships, although we do award small cash prizes to our best students at the end of every year. We also encourage students to apply for grants through the French Consulate in Atlanta: http://www.consulfrance-atlanta.org/spip.php?article1800.

The most popular of these programs provides a year in France teaching English (on salary with the French government) as an assistant(e) d'anglais. For more information go to: http://www.frenchculture.org/spip.php?rubrique424&tout=ok.

The Alliance Française of Nashville also offers several assistantship positions teaching English in Deauville; for more information: http://www.afnashville.org/deauville/.
