14TH ANNUAL SAEOPP/UTK MCNAIR
NATIONAL SCHOLARS RESEARCH CONFERENCE
KNOXVILLE, TN
June 26 - June 29, 2008
The 14th Annual Conference
is a joint venture between the University
of Tennessee McNair Program and the Southeastern Association of
Educational Opportunity Program Personnel (SAEOPP). The conference
is designed to attract undergraduate and graduate students from all
TRIO programs within the U.S. and the Trust Territories. The conference
will provide opportunities for young scholars to share their research,
provide exposure to the key issues in research and higher education,
facilitate the interaction between graduate school representatives,
graduate faculty, and McNair scholars, and provide forums for discussion
of intellectual issues.
Who Should Attend?
McNair scholars, TRIO students (Student Support Services, Upward
Bound, and Talent Search), McNair staff members, mentors, graduate
school representatives and other higher education personnel are
invited to participate in the SAEOPP/UTK McNair National Scholars Research
Conference.
Location
The 2008 SAEOPP/UTK McNair National Scholars Research Conference will be
held in Knoxville, TN which may be reached via interstate 40, 75, and 81
and is serviced by most major airlines.
