PROGRAM BENEFITS
 

The UTK McNair Summer Research Institute is a nine-week graduate school preparatory internship which pays a stipend totaling $2,800.00. The stipend is paid in three installments, and is tied to the completion of program outcomes.

Please note that the "Travel Assistance" amounts reflected are provided to "assist" students traveling to the McNair Program, and may not fully cover the entire amount expended for travel. UT students accepted to participate in the Summer Research Institute "DO NOT" receive the Travel Assistance.
