Hello Admitted and Arriving Students,

Congratulations and Welcome to all the students of Fall 2013 admitted batch at the University of Tennessee. Manthan (Indian Students Association) would like to apologize for the late response for your emails and inquiries. Although some members have already initiated the process of responding to our emails. This is a formal welcome from Manthan.

Here is the checklist for new students:

1. Join Facebook, as most current members are active in that group:

Like last year we have created a new student database (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/utk-fall2013/database?method=reportRows&tbl=1) for this group which will allow us to manage the pickups and temporary accommodations for the new incoming students. Please fill in the database as that will be the primary source of communicating information between the Students in Knoxville and back in India.

Also there is a updated list of Housing options in the second database (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/utk-fall2013/database?method=reportRows&tbl=2) for the new students. The majority of the Indian community is scattered in three to four housing apartments namely, Crestridge, Green Tree, Kingston Place and Cherokee Ridge apartments.

Please communicate with other new students from India admitted to University of Tennessee, Knoxville to update the New Students Database with the current information.
