Developmental
psychopathology
In
the Child and Adolescent Development Lab we study the early developmental
tasks of attachment, self development and self regulation. Failure
to negotiate these tasks successfully may contribute to the development
of psychopathology. We are interested in what the development
of psychopathology can teach us about normative development and
vice versa.
The goal of our work is to
understand better the processes involved in the development of psychopathology
so that developmentally sensitive preventive interventions may be
designed and implemented.
