Episode Summary :

Part 1

"Behind the walls of this secret location is Electrabase, where Frank Hefflin runs Crimescope the amazing computer complex that supplies Electra Woman and Dyna Girl with their amazing superpowers. Frank is completing work on his new Electra-Comp attachment when suddenly...."

Frank is working diligently in Electrabase when all of a sudden, the Empress of Evil appears out of nowhere and commands Frank to summon Electra Woman and Dyna Girl back to Electrabase for a very important announcement. Meanwhile, across town Lori and Judy have just finished covering a flower show when a very rattled Frank calls them back to Electrabase. In another part of town, Empress of Evil and the evil Lucrecia plot and plan to use the Empress' power to take over the world.

At Electrabase, Electra Woman tries out Frank's latest attachment, the Electra-Split, which can split any object in two, however it leave the affected object unstable and it cannot be used on humans. As they finished, the Empress of Evil breaks through on Crimescope and announces her intention to rule the world. However, before she can do that, she first must deal with Electra Woman and Dyna Girl. As a preemptive strike, the Empress captures Dyna Girl by teleporting her directly out of Electrabase. Electra Woman informs Frank to get a fix on the Empress' hideout in the hopes of finding her partner. She then heads out in search of Dyna Girl.

Back at the hideout, Dyna Girl finds herself before the Empress. The junior heroine goes for her Electra-Comp only to find it gone and in the clutches of the Empress and Lucrecia. The Empress then cast a spell on Dyna Girl to take care of her.

"Electra Woman speeds to the Empress's hideout to save Dyna Girl, but is she already too late?"

Electra Woman tracks the Empress to her hideout and goes to find Dyna Girl. She finds her a trance suspended in mid air. Electra Woman degravitates to try to free Dyna Girl, but as she does, the Empress spring another trap on the duo. They find themselves locked in a cage that suddenly appears that is descending into a large caldron of boiling oil. The girls uses Electra Woman's Electra-Beam to break free from the cage and go to retrieve the lost Electra-Comp.

Meanwhile, the Empress and Lucrecia are prematurely celebrating their victory when our heroines burst in and snatch the missing Electra-Comp right out of Lucrecia's hand. The girls tries to contain the Empress using a force shield, however, the Empress simply walk through the shield. Back at Electrabase, Crimescope deduces that the Empress is emitting anti-power which renders the Electra-Comps useless. Frank belatedly relays the information to the girls. The Empress cast a spell on the girls which stretches them, threatening to tear the apart.

The Empress and Lucrecia then head to Electrabase where they face off against Frank.

"Can there be any hope for our crime fighting trio? Is it indeed too late?"

Part 2

Inside Electrabase, as Frank defends Crimescope against the Empress and Lucrecia, he steps on a floor button, which sounds an alarm for Crimscope. The Empress then cast a spell on him that places him in a trance and causes him to levitate. They then try to program to self-destruct.

"Can there be any hope for our crime fighting trio? Was Frank able to help Electra Woman and Dyna Girl when he stepped on the floor button?"

Evidentially, yes. For at that moment, Electra Woman and Dyna Girl are freed from the Empress' spell. Their celebration is cut short when they realize that Frank and Crimescope are in trouble and hurry back to save them. Upon arriving, they rescue Frank and stop the Empress and Lucrecia who promptly depart Electrabase. However, once again the celebration is cut short as the Empress uses her powers to transport Electra Woman and Dyna Girl back to her lair.

Inside the hideout they encounter a Banshee.

"A Banshee! But legend says those who hear the wailing of the dreaded Banshee have run out of time. Is this the final moments for Electra Woman and Dyna Girl?"

The Banshee lures our heroine to the Empress where they prepare for their final showdown. The Empress powers versus our heroines. Electra Woman and Dyna Girl are still at a huge disadvantage for they still don't know why their power has no effect on the Empress.

"And so Electra Woman accepts the Empress of Evil's challenge, a fact that Hefflin finds puzzling knowing that our heroines powers are useless against the diabolical Empress."

The Empress strikes the first blow as she surrounds the girls in a ring of fire, from which they promptly Electra-Degravitate. While waiting for the Empress' next move, Electra Woman figures out the solution to the Empress' power, which is confirmed by Frank. Electra Woman uses the Electra-Spilt on the Empress, which split her into two, because the Empress was an android created by Lucrecia. The Empress is reduced to rubble and her reign of terror is over.

DynaGirl's Thoughts:

"What ever happened to Baby Jane?" The movie comes to mind when I think of this episode. I do know when I was like seven and this was on and hid behind the sofa. Something about these two creeped my younger self out. Now that Im older.. its all good.. well ok.. Lucretia still creeps me out. This show seemed to dabble more into the darker end of the shows fare. It is the show that actually when i write and draw comics I refer to as the first one to make me think.. "What would make a villian do this.." Good performances all around. Dunno if there's still a little scared electrafan in me.. but I don't watch this one much.. to..in dyna-speak "Electra-creepy".
