Students come from all races, ethnic backgrounds, and paths in life for the sole purpose of ministering through song. Besides singing, Love United Gospel Choir and its members continue to serve the UT campus and Knoxville community.

On July 30, 2009 our former Choir Advisor Ms. Jocelyn B. Milton passed away.
Throughout her tenure with the choir, she mothered, nurtured, guided, and
administered tough love to us—when necessary. We will always remember her
beautiful, warm smile that could light up a room, light up our hearts, and
make us believe that everything would always work out for the best. Our
hearts and prayers go out to all of her family & friends. “Mama Milton”,
we thank you, love you, and will miss you. We find perfect peace in
knowing that your soul will forever magnify the Lord.
