My training is in applied climatology, geographical information systems (GIS), remote sensing, and statistics. My research activities in Tennessee include:

• Water Quality study in collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
• Climatic requirements for crop production and environmental quality
• Using GIS and statistics to characterize climates 
• Use of real-time weather data for agricultural operations and environmental monitoring
