Concentration in Geographic Information Systems and Water Quality

Thesis research area would be in GIS or remote sensing applications in water quality modeling, especially development of Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs). The masters degree is in Biosystems Engineering Technology. Either a thesis or non-thesis option is available.

Recommended Courses: 24 credits thesis option (6 additional credits taken as thesis research BsET 500),

Concentration in Environmental Data Collection and Analysis

This concentration is designed for M.S. candidates that would like to improve their skills in environmental data collection methods and analysis, with a focus in water quality or climate. Thesis research area would be in environmental data collection analysis and application to problems in agriculture or natural resources. The masters degree is in Biosystems Engineering Technology. Thesis option only is available.

Recommended Courses: thesis option only (24 credits in coursework, 6 additional credits taken as BsET 500)

Concentration in Soil Science/Land use/Water Quality

This concentration is designed for M.S. candidates that have a good background in soil science and would like to branch out into more environmental areas such as water quality and land use. The masters degree is in Plant and Soil Science. Either a thesis or non-thesis option is available.

Recommended Courses: 24 credits thesis option (6 additional credits taken as ESS 500 thesis research)
