When Should One Bother?

Consider creating a course home page if:

• There is a need to advertise the course
• One wants to interact with working professionals on the subject of the course
• The class is large
• There is a need to distribute data
• One wants to keep handouts current and available
• One want to keep a public log of homework and when it is due
• Working students have to miss occasional classes (and one is not afraid of making it easier to skip class)

Or if you are doing distance teaching
