We use the data in Figure 2-9 of your textbook. We enter the data as follows.
The Degree and Major columns have been declared character data by double clicking on top of the columns. In addition we have selected F on the top of the Frequency column.
We use the Fit Y by X platform with Major as the X variable and Degree as the Y variable.
We need to go to the crosstabs menu to get all the percentages.
