Plots at the different values of the load of the survivor functions versus log time should be horizontally shifted copies of each other:

We use the data of Watson, A. S. and Smith, R. L. (1985) on the failure stresses of single carbon fiber. (Table 4.1, Page 81 of your textbook). Notice that in this example failure stress plays the role of time.

For some reason this table comes out with 500 rows while the original table had only 250. We need to remove this extra rows. ( I welcome suggestions on how to avoid creating this extra 250 rows)

After rearranging the columns we get the following JMP data table:

What do you think? Do they look like horizontal shifted copies of each other?
