Stat 567: Statistical Reliability
Mailing List

The Stat 567: Statistical Reliability mailing list provides a forum for current and former students of the course and for other interested parties to exchange information about the course. Questions and comments about the subject of the course, homework, exams, and the like are all fair game. Anything to help us learn.

Dr. Leon will monitor the list but in general will "try" to let students, former students, and other interested parties be the main contributors.

To subscribe to this mailing list send an e-mail message to Stats_567@stats.bus.utk.edu with the word "subscribe" (without the quotation marks) in the subject field of your e-mail message. Make sure that your e-mail address is in the "From" field of your e-mail message. (This is the e-mail address at which you will receive e-mail messages from other subscribers to the mailing list.)

To send a message to other subscribers of the mailing list send you e-mail to Stats_567@stats.bus.utk.edu. Your message will be forwarded to all other list subscribers.

help

You can check to see if Netscape 3.0 is configured with you e-mail by going to the Options menu, then to Mail and News Preferences under Identity. You should see you e-mail address there. Below is what I see in when I do this in my copy of Netscape 3.0 for the Macintosh.

The details will change with other versions of Netscape or other browsers but with a little exploration you should be able to find the equivalent pop-up menu.
