This homework is due Monday, October 30:

Problems 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, and 8.9 in your textbook
Use SLIDA to do the plots in the following figures of Chapter 8 of your textbook
- Figures 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 8.6, 8.7, 8.8, 8.11. Some of the plots you will get from SLIDA will not be exactly these ones. For example, now SLIDA parametrizes the Weibull with mu and beta instead of mu and sigma, so substitute beta for sigma in these plots if this makes the job easier. This part of the assignment is supposed to be easy designed to make sure you know how to use SLIDA at an elementary level. Don't spend too much time on this part of the homework. If you can't do a plot tell me why SLIDA could not do it and this will count.
