Calculation of Q-Q Plots: Exponential, Weibull, and Lognormal


We illustrate how to use JMP with the revolutions-to-failure data of Lieblein and Zelen found in

"Statistical investigation of the fatigue life of deep grove ball bearings. "Lieblein, K. and Zelen, M. (1956) J. Res. Nt. bur. Stand., 57, 273-361.

Import into JMP the Ball Bearing data:

The Censor code 0 means that the number given in the Revolution column is a failure time not a removal time. (A removal time would have a Censor value of 1.)
