This time we are going to do the calculation in one step by using the JMP calculator:
Open a new JMP data table. Name the column "Area".
Right click on top of this column and select formula.
This opens the JMP calculator:
Program the calculator as follow:
Click OK:
Double click where the orange circle is. This will add one row to the JMP data table:
