We will do Example 7.16, Page 476 and Example 7.17, Page 478.

Download and open the following JMP file:

• Table7-4

Go to the Analyze menu, select Fit Y by X, and fill the resulting dialog box as follows:

Click OK. Select Mean/Anova/t Test from the red triangle pull down menu:

Scroll down to the following output:

Compare the results to those of Example 7.16 and Example 7.17.
Notice that Example 7.17 in your book has the wrong answer.
