Confidence Interval for the Mean

We will do Example 7.1, Page 435.

Enter the data into a JMP data table:

Go to the Analyze menu and select Distribution:

Fill the resulting dialog box as follows:

Click OK. Select Confidence Interval .95 from the pull down menu next to Amounts:

Scroll down to the following output:

Compare these results with those of Example 7.1
