Meeting Begins: 6:05p.m.

Icebreaker and Introductions

President:

There are quite a few events coming up shortly and we could definitely use your help to make sure they run as smoothly as possible. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these events, please speak with Amy Davidson in order to join a committee for each event.

RES Board Planning Committee-We will submit proposals for next year to the RES Board on March 24 in order to receive funding. Please sign up as soon as possible to begin putting the proposal together.

National Day of Silence- Because the Day of Silence coincides with the last day of classes (April 25), we will meet to consider when and how we will observe this event.

Exec Board meetings have been moved to Sundays, 9 p.m. The meetings will be moved to the Starbucks on Cumberland Ave. for those on campus who would like to attend.

Treasurer:

If you have not already paid your dues for the semester, please do so as soon as possible. Dues are $10 and help fund all endeavors.

Political Coordinator:

Rachel LaRue will be getting together a political action committee for the semester. If you are interested in joining, please see Rachel to join.

If you haven’t already, please don’t forget to vote in the University Center tomorrow!

Social Coordinator:

The beach trip that was planned for spring break has now been cancelled due to lack of accommodations and scheduling conflicts. In lieu of this, we will stay in our usual cabin in Gatlinburg, March 28-30. The price for each person will be $45. Each person going will provide food to last for the trip. If you are interested in going please sign up with James Scott.

Sabrina Sojourner:

The next meeting for the committee will be held Tues, Feb. 5. We will be meeting in Starbucks in Hodges Library.

Please sign up to flyer for the event on Feb. 24, at 2 p.m. We will be divided into teams and flyer in different areas around campus. Please see Rachel if you would like to help.

Rockin' Womyn's Music Festival:

We currently have $355 to help fund the Women’s Music Festival but we need all the help we can get!

The Date Auction will be held Friday, Feb. 8. The auction will be held in Room 135 in the UT Law School, at 7 p.m. If you would like to sign up to be auctioned off, please see Michael Malone.

We will be holding a bake sale on Wednesday, Feb. 13. Please sign up if you would like to bring baked goods, i.e. cookies, muffins, brownies, etc.

Other Announcements

Gender Defiant will be holding its first meeting Tuesday, at 7 p.m. They will meet in the UC, Room 226.
