Homecoming
On Saturday, Nov. 3rd, Homecoming festivities will be held. The theme for this year will be "Smokey's Bayou Bash," as Tennessee plays Louisiana at LaFayette. By a show of hands, it was decided that will be making a float to be entered in the festivities. Those interested in helping will meet at Amy's apt. at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 9, to help plan and sketch for the float.Cabin Trip
Nov. 16-18 will be our annual cabin trip in Gatlinburg. For those interested the cost is $45 and you should pay as soon as possible to ensure that you get the room you would like. The fee is nonrefundable.Tee Shirts
Tee shirts were made at Amy's apt. on Sunday evening in preparation for National Coming Out Day (Oct. 9th). If you would like to buy a shirt, the cost is $5.Political Policy Committee
Please speak with Political Coordinator Mitchell Ronnigen if you have not or are at all interested in signing up for the Political Policy committee, ASAP. It was voted that there will be an event to recognize Freedom To Marry Day (Feb. 14). If you are interested in helping to prepare for this event, contact Mitchell to sign up for a draft committee.Corn Maze Social Event

National Coming Out Day (Oct. 9th)-TOMORROW!!! If you have not signed up for tabling on this event, you may come by anytime tomorrow to help. Our table will be located on the Pedestrian Walkway.World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day-If you are interested in participating in the Community World AIDS Day Event (Dec. 1, at the Sunsphere), please see John Witt about signing up. They need volunteers!!! We are currently interested in holding a couple of different social events in order to help draw attention for this event. WAD meetings will now be held Mondays, at 5:30 p.m., in the UC Lobby in front of the computer store.Sabrina Sojouner

Womens Music Festival-We will be holding a bake sale Oct. 24th, Thurs., from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on the pedestrian walkway to help raise money. Please bring ingredients on Wednesday, we will be cooking Wed. nite at Amy's!New Lambda Website

Gender Defiant will be meeting at Nikki Renee's apt, next Monday, after the Lambda meeting in order to discuss transgender topics. Next week, Suzanne Phar will be coming on the Thurs, Oct. 18th to discuss to LGBT rights. The next meeting will be Monday Oct. 15th, in the UC, room 224. SEE YA THEN!Contact Lambda
