About Webliographer

Webliographer is a free, online bookmarking service. Helpful web sites are selected and grouped by topic for you to browse.

Webliographer is web-based. This means you can access it anywhere – at home, at the library, in the classroom, on a friend's compute – using this address: http://webliographer.com/getpublished/

Webliographer tracks the use of URLs. When visitors click on a link, a counter updates the database. Links that receive more hits are promoted to the front page of Webliographer's display. You can instantly recognize the most popular sites under each topic.

Webliographer is an example of "social bookmarking." To learn more about social bookmarking and how to participate, download the Publish Me! Webliographer FAQ (in PDF format).

Publish Me! Webliographer

The Publish Me! Webliographer includes carefully selected sites grouped under the following topics:

  • digital and multimedia publishing (blogs, digital storytelling, podcasting)
  • Internet and computer help (cyberlaw, email, Internet safety)
  • writing resources (brainstorming, editing, reference, and publishing)
  • fun links (famous teen writers, media arts, and more)
