Information for Prospective Students
| Though most of my work focuses on butterflies, in no way should this be construed as a prerequisite for pursuing questions in my lab. Though students are free to work on the same systems as I do, I encourage students to pursue topics of their own interest. My approach to the study of ecology and evolution integrates ideas and methods from a number of different specialties including lab and field experimentation, genetics, and chemistry. Students are encouraged to take advantage of any of these methodologies (as well as those provided by other faculty at UT) that might be relevant to their questions.
