Biography

Welcome to my e-portfolio! My name is Jen Scagnelli and on this webpage I'll tell you a little about myself. I grew up in New York City and moved to Knoxville about ten years ago to attend UT. Sometimes I still miss NY and living in a big city, but I've found a home in Knoxville and have grown to love this area. I currently work at UT as the admissions coordinator for the College of Social Work MSSW program, so I'm the person to see if you know anyone who wants to pursue a graduate degree in Social Work. I'm also a part-time student, taking classes in the Instructional Technology program. While I'm currently non-degree seeking, I plan on applying to the IT program in the very near future. During my time at UT I've developed a strong interest in the learning process and how technology can be used to facilitate and enrich learning (specifically in adult learners). I also have two beautiful nieces, Katrina who is 1 1/2 and Erin who is brand new, born on November 18th!
