Mechanical key and stop action
The organ uses the case and chassis of an 1891 Pilcher organ originally built for First Baptist Church, Griffin, GA, and purchased by the University of the South, Sewanee, TN, in 1928. The organ became unplayable around 1963 and suffered much vandalism and loss of pipework in recent years.
