Due to the nature of shrimp farming, organic matter, excessive nutrients and other elements were released into the Kung Krabaen Bay, adversely impacting the ecosystem. The KKB Project designed a biological water treatment system for oyster culture used in outlet canals to help solve this problem. The oysters also boost the farmers' income. |
