- Work with mentor teacher to develop and implement technology
activities in the classroom;
- Develop and implement at least two student-centered lessons
that use technology to enhance learning during spring semester
2004. Your lessons should follow the ImPACT lesson plan template
and you will enter each into the Project ImPACT database by April
2004 (directions for input will be given and can be found on the
ImPACT website);
- Present technology enhanced lessons at an intern meeting, faculty
meeting, regional meeting or conference.
- Participate in data collection activities for project evaluation
purposes:
- Complete pre and post surveys on technology proficiency
and use;
- Participate in focus group interview with other interns
at the project conclusion.

- Web-based development (advanced users only). Limited to
3 from each site. If you are interested in this training,

- Create your own training plan. Create a personal technology
plan with support from ImPACT staff which includes a goal,
training to meet that goal and one-on-one mentoring by a grad
student to support development/implementation of your goal.
This plan requires the faculty member to commit to 2 hours
per week for training/support. You should choose a course
that you currently teach and modify that course to include
technology assignments for pre-service teachers. This option
includes submission of a final report outlining your progress.

| Team
Leaders |
- Team leaders are chosen by each team to assume a leadership
position in the team. Team leaders may be a mentor teacher or
a tech coordinator. Team leaders serve in dual roles. That is,
they will have these responsibilities in addition to those of
the mentor teacher or tech coordinator.
- Responsibilities
- Serve as a team leader for your school team.
- Serve as the contact person between the team and the
Project Coordinator.
- Distribute messages to the team and/or school administration
as needed.
- Schedule monthly team meetings with the team. These
meetings should include the Project Coordinator. Please
note that Susan attends the monthly meetings of each of
the five teams so schedule these meetings early.
- Oversee the timely submission of lesson plans from
the interns.
