Pendular Movements - Economic Policies in South America since WWII
The International House would like to invite you to join us for our Conversations about World Affairs program with Cecilia Zanetta, a World Bank and international financial consultant to financial institutions in Latin and Central America. This program will take place, Tuesday, February 20th at 7pm in the International House Great Room.
Dr.Cecilia Zanetta is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Geography at the University of Tennessee. Her main areas of interest include public policy in developing countries with a focus on urban and housing policies, public sector modernization, and sub-national governments.
Over the last fifteen years, Dr. Zanetta has worked as a consultant to the World Bank and other international financial institutions in several countries in Latin and Central America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Paraguay, and Peru. Dr. Zanetta's academic research is aimed at building a bridge between practice and the world of ideas to ultimately improve living conditions in developing countries.
A reception will be held at the I-House following the talk.
