Life at the I-House

If you love Dancing, Art, Food, the sounds of International Music, and want to sample cultures from around the world, make plans to attend the International Festival on Friday, April 18, 2008 from 10am-3:00pm.

This very special event will feature live performances and a much anticipated performance by the Guitars of Spain. Food and beverages will be sold at this event. Please clear your calendar and join us as we unwind from a long week of work and enjoy each other, great music, and great food.

This coming Friday, the International House will host our annual International Festival at the University Center Plaza from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

We will have booths representing more than a dozen different countries again this year. There will be lots of food, cultural information, and fun! This is your chance to visit different places around the world without leaving UT.

This year, our festival is part of a much larger Diversity Week celebration. Please check out all of the other activities going on around campus this week. There are several events going on each day. Please join us also at 2:30 on Friday in the Crest Room of the UC for the closing ceremony. Officially, the festival ends at 3 p.m., but we will wrap things up by 2:30 so that everyone can attend the closing ceremony.
