All Aboard!
All Aboard!! On Saturday July 12th, the International House is taking a trip aboard the Three Rivers Rambler. The train ride runs along the scenic Tennessee, Holston, and French Broad Rivers. The 11 mile train ride lasts 90 minutes and passes by beautiful farmland, Knoxville's first settlement area and several rock quarries that were mined to build Washington DC. It also runs over the Three Rivers Trestle where the French Broad and Holston rivers combine to the Tennessee River. We will meet at the International House at4:00pm and walk to the train ride. The train departs at 5:00pm and we should return to the International House around 7:00pm. The cost of the trip is $19. Children ages 3-12 also receive a discounted ticket.
