Life at the I-House

As we embark on another semester of endless excitement and fulfillment, the International House is hosting the Friendship Program once again. With a two-fold mission of providing a home away from home for International Students and teaching Americans about various international cultures, we aim to provide an inclusive and harmonious space for all. To that end, we have developed a brand new friendship program, and that is why we need your assistance.

The friendship program is designed to pair same-gender students, one from an international country and one from America, with the intent of developing life-long friendships and impacting retention by allowing students to feel "at home" in a country other than their own. With only a one-hour commitment per week, we hope that volunteers can change each others' lives forever. This is a perfect stepping stone to help us prepare to become "Ready for the World."
