Language Tables

Language Tables allow students to practice their language skills in a relaxed and informal setting with a native speaker of the language. No grades here! This is a place to practice speaking a language and learn about the cultures of the countries where the language is spoken. Languages vary from semester to semester based on student interest and the availability of native speakers. Usually we have one hour of class per week for each language. Native English speakers can also participate by joining the English language table program. Common examples of tables presented include English, French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Korean but may include other languages like Mandarin, Arabic, Farsi and Thai among others.

The International House is delighted to invite you to its Language Tables program for this semester, Spring 2009. The language table program allows students to practice a language with a native speaker in an informal and relaxed setting. Below you will find the schedule with the days, times, languages, and locations for our classes.
