Have you ever wondered how countries are able to join the European Union? What is that admissions process like? Or, have you ever wanted to know what it's like to be the Ambassador of a country to the United States? Below you will find an opportunity to have all those questions and more answered!
Who: The Honorable Mr. Samuel Zbogar, Ambassador of the country of Slovenia to the United States, speaking on the admission of Slovenia into the European Union.
What: Conversations about World Affairs, a visiting lecture series co-sponsored by Ready for the World and the International House
Where: International House Great Room
When: Tuesday, April 3, 7pm
Why: This will be a great opportunity to learn about the European Union and how countries are admitted.
