A:
Consult the Player Information section below and bring your equipment to school. We hold a training camp around the first week of September for coaches to determine the initial 22-man roster; however, all players will have an opportunity to move up to the 22-man roster during the season.  Players who are not on the 22-man ACHA roster will play on the B-team against smaller colleges, high school's and area men's league teams.

The basic academic rule states that each player must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA, be a full-time undergraduate (12 credit hours) or graduate (9 credit hours) student and pass a minimum of nine (9) credits each semester. It is also required that each player complete 24 units from the previous school year to be eligible to play in the fall of the following year.

ANNUAL DUES
Tennessee Hockey is a pay-to-play (fee) Club sport. The University of Tennessee Athletic Department does not financially support us. We have several sources of revenue, including corporate sponsors, fundraisers, clothing sales, gate receipts and program ad sales. At this point, it is not enough to offset the team's expenses that include, but are not limited to, equipment, travel and lodging and ice time.

This year's fee will be approximately $400 per semester and must be paid before the first team practice of each semester.

If you are still interested in attending Tennessee and being a part of our program, please complete the Online Player Profile Form and return it directly to me by mail or email as soon as possible. Please be sure to include your correct address, phone number and e-mail address.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the club.
Thank you for your interest in the Tennessee Hockey Program.
